Inspiration

Fashion has always been my passion, but I chose to study Computer and Network Engineering. I’ve often noticed that people with great potential struggle to express themselves through fashion. That’s how SAYARA was born — a bridge between fashion, creativity, and smart technology. The name “SAYARA” is a fusion of Saja (my name), Style, AI (Artificial Intelligence), and Aura — reflecting identity, intelligence, and elegance.

What it does

SAYARA is an AI-powered fashion coordination app that suggests outfits based on weather, occasion, and personal taste. Users can explore stylist-created looks, save their favorite outfits, and even book personalized styling sessions — delivering a smooth, guided fashion experience for every day.

How we built it

I began by identifying user needs and mapping out key flows through wireframes and prototypes using Figma. I focused on a clean and intuitive interface, then used Anima to bring the design to life. The core AI features were illustrated through scenario-based interactions to demonstrate dynamic styling responses.

Challenges we ran into

Working solo meant managing everything — time, design, flow, and strategy — all within a tight deadline. It was intense but rewarding. It pushed me to prioritize the most impactful features, and sharpened my ability to solve problems quickly and stay focused on execution.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I’m proud of building a fully functioning prototype and clear user journey — solo and under pressure. Turning a rough idea into a sleek, interactive, and shareable product within this timeframe proved to me what I’m capable of.

What we learned

I learned how to transform a technical concept into an elegant, usable product by focusing on clean UI/UX through Figma. I also gained insight into how users engage with AI-based fashion tools and how important it is to balance looks with usability.

What's next for SAYARA

The next steps for SAYARA involve expanding the AI engine, integrating real user data, and launching a functional beta version. I also plan to introduce AR try-on, style quizzes, personal stylist boutiques, and deeper personalization — making SAYARA smarter, more inclusive, and globally empowering.
