Inspiration
The inspiration for Savvy Spending came from the need for a simple yet effective tool to help individuals track their expenses, set financial goals, and manage their investments with ease. Many financial apps are either too complex or lack personalization, so I wanted to create a user-friendly, visually appealing, and functional platform that empowers users to take control of their finances.
What it does
Track expenses, set financial goals, calculate loan payments, stay organized with reminders
How we built it
Developed using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring an intuitive and modern UI.
Challenges we ran into
Expense Management Complexity: Ensuring that users could dynamically update expenses while maintaining a smooth user experience.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Successfully built an interactive finance planner with a clean and user-friendly interface. Implemented a functional expense tracker with dynamic updates and visual indicators.
What we learned
Gained experience in front-end web development, particularly JavaScript DOM manipulation. Understood the importance of UI/UX design principles in creating an engaging user experience.
