Inspiration
As students ourselves, it is noticeable that we end up having no money at the end of the month. The reasons might be varied, but mostly because of the temptation of buying stuff that we don't really need and spending on the spur of the moment. And this occurrence would no doubt hurt us later, making us regret the choice we have made during the day. And to solve this problem, we tried to make a web in which users can save what they have bought during the day and make a plan for their savings. Just what students would need. An app for money management but still fun and has some sense of achievement
What it does
It helps the user manage the flow of money so that they can plan for themself a saving schedule while also provide them with the excitement in saving money by building the streaks and see it progress
How we built it
We used Sonnet 5.5 to help us relocate our ideas and put them all together, then build the app through it. Provide it with our own ideas, decorate it, make it logical and finish it
Challenges we ran into
Upon making the web, we sure have run into quite a lot of challenges. The hardest part is the math and the logic for the algorithm itself, as it is quite sophisticated, so we had to sit back, calculate, and optimize it for the best.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of the topic and the theme of our choice; applying a gothic theme to something so seemingly unrelated, such as saving and managing finances, felt like a horrible mix. But turns out, it fits quite well with the web.
What we learned
We have learned the process of using AI to build new things, to create, and most importantly, to work in the group efficiently to get a fine product.
What's next for "Saving just like breathing"
We would like to update so many things, add some new features like logging in and sharing to people so that the app can have a better reach, the ranking system so that people can compete with each other and most importantly: how to make money through the app but still make customers feel satisfied with the app.
