Inspiration

As a passionate member of SAVI, my college's own dance club, I was inspired to create a digital platform that reflects the energy and creativity of our community. Dance clubs like SAVI are all about expression and connection, and I wanted to build a website that captures that spirit. The goal was to provide an online space where dancers can showcase their talent, interact, and keep the excitement alive even off the stage.

What it does

SAVI's website provides an engaging platform where users can learn about the club, explore events, meet choreographers, and connect with the team. With sleek animations and responsive design, the website offers a seamless experience across all devices. A contact form powered by Web3Form ensures easy communication between members and the club.

How we built it

We built the SAVI website using React for component-based architecture, Tailwind CSS for styling, and Framer Motion for interactive animations. Web3Form was integrated for handling form submissions securely and efficiently. Each component was crafted with responsiveness in mind, ensuring smooth animations and a flawless experience on any device.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges was integrating complex animations without sacrificing performance, especially on mobile devices. Ensuring seamless responsiveness across various screen sizes and optimizing the website for speed and smooth transitions posed additional difficulties, but we managed to overcome them through careful tweaking and optimization.

We’re proud of delivering a fully responsive, animated website that captures the vibrant essence of the dance club while offering a smooth user experience.
