Developed by a team deeply committed to public welfare and ecological conservation, SaveSphere is designed to quickly detect and respond to threats. It empowers law enforcement with real-time data, facilitating prompt and decisive action against violent acts and environmental sabotage. This innovative tool is not just about detection; it's about community empowerment and fostering a sense of security.

What it does

SaveSphere operates as follows:

1. Identifying Potential Threats: SaveSphere actively recognizes possible dangers or risky situations through real-time video analysis using object detection techniques.
2. Email Alert Notifications: Once a threat is detected, SaveSphere swiftly sends email alerts to facilitate prompt action.

How we built it

To ensure the success of the project, two fundamental components needed implementation. The initial phase involved training the object detection model to identify threats in videos.The subsequent phase focused on integrating the model into a website and facilitating real-time email notifications for user safety.For the initial phase, Python and PyTorch were employed to construct the models. To seamlessly integrate it into a web platform, our team utilized Flask, React, and CSS, collectively bringing this project to fruition.

Challenges we ran into

Finding an appropriate dataset which is suitable to our goal was time consuming.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our innovative approach, especially our live alert systems, which have the potential to save numerous lives from danger. Successfully integrating AI technologies into life-saving efforts is another significant accomplishment of ours.

We learnt how to tackle challenges faced in data acquisition and appropriate model training.

What's next for SaveSphere

1. In future, SaveSphere plans incorporate real-time surveillance seamlessly into our website to enhance security measures.
2. Additionally, we aim to capture instances of physical violence as part of our ongoing efforts to improve the project’s scope.
