Hi, we're Can't be SECond. We are trying to reduce food waste by making people aware of expiration dates.

Inspiration: Hate see food go to waste

What it does: Adds food item's expiration date to calendar, notifies you when date is "tomorrow," suggests recipes to use food item in.

How we built it: Java

Challenges we ran into: GUIs, creating a functional app

Accomplishments that we're proud of: The whole thing.

What we learned: A lot about java and how to apply CS2 to a real life example.

What's next for Save The Food: an actual app.
