Inspiration

My mother is an avid gardener, and from her, I truly understood the importance of nature and the role it plays in our lives. Her obsession with nutritious soil for her plants made me understand how important it is.

What it does

Save Soil connects farmers with people willing to donate their biodegradable items to create composte. The consumers in return get either fresh produce or discounts at the farmer's market.

How we built it

I built it via Java and Android Studio as a mobile app

Challenges we ran into

This was my first time making an app and participating in a hackathon, so getting the idea itself was hard. I also ran into issues but was able to debug them.
