Inspiration
We randomly came up with this idea.
What it does
This serves as a source of information on shoe wastage. It has a detailed analysis on all the reasons for shoe wastage and ways to mitigate it, along with links to charities that one can contact to donate shoes to.
How we built it
We used html and css to build a website and github to host the website.
Challenges we ran into
Initially we wanted to blur the picture and use it as a background so we spent a while figuring out how to do that, then after that was done, it looked terrible and we came up with a new design that used the unblurred image. We had very little experience in making websites and a time limit, making this challenging.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Honestly we were surprised to finish this.
What we learned
We learnt how to use html and css to create a website and use github to host the website
What's next for Save Our Soles
We are not sure but we are working to come up with something to save more soles.
