Inspiration -My brother has a friend who, at the age of 17, decided to move out from his parents and start a personal life.After 2 months, he already felt the first financial problems.It was necessary to pay for the rent of the apartment, utilities, food and other things.There was not enough salary because he did not know how to distribute it correctly.A year later, he had already taken out loans that he could not pay.
What it does -Seeing this problem, we came up with an idea to solve it, as many people and families currently live with it. We wanted to create a website for everyone who wants to manage their money wisely.
How we built it -My brother talked to his friend, and it turned out he'd already tried similar apps, but they weren't suitable for him. Each app has its own major drawbacks: too many ads, confusing features intended only for specialists, no data storage, and limited functionality. We decided to create a website that wouldn't have these drawbacks and would even offer more budgeting options.
Challenges we ran into -My brother and I talked with his friend for so long that we needed to learn as much information as possible to create something that was truly needed right now. We also researched the market and read user preferences. We implemented all the necessary features and even came up with a rough plan for making money.
Accomplishments that we're proud of -We are really proud that we have done a lot of work in a short time, but more than that, we are very glad that our site was tested by my brother's friend, and he really liked it and would like us to release it.
What we learned -We realized that the best way to create a solution to a problem is to consult with those who need it, listen to their requests, find the right solutions, and make the site such that everyone has what they would prefer to use.
What's next for Save money -We plan to add:Importing data, notifications and reminders, support for multiple currencies, integration with banking APIs.We also want to add Anonymous user stories-they can write about their successes, about ridiculous spending failures, about erroneous situations that they advise not to repeat.This creates a community effect,motivates people to visit this site and choose our site.And we want to create a concept from anonymous stories so that the site can make money.
