Inspiration

This project was inspired by the challenge posted during MLH's ML/AI Global Hack Week, motivating me to explore new tools that enhance the development process.

What it does

Saving a snippet with Pieces for Developers allows users to easily revisit saved code and gain deeper insights through generative AI prompts, making coding more efficient.

How I built it

I started by downloading Pieces for Developers and experimenting with their LLM prompts. I also installed the Pieces extension in VS Code, enabling seamless code snippet saving and AI-driven inquiries directly within the text editor.

Challenges I ran into

Understanding the full range of Pieces' features and adapting to the workflow was initially challenging. It's more tightly integrated into the development process compared to traditional internet chatbots like ChatGPT.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm proud to have explored cutting-edge AI technology with the potential to shape the future of development. While Pieces is still growing its user base, I'm excited to see how it evolves and whether it becomes a go-to tool for developers.
