The joy of cooking and problem pausing and rewatching recipe videos

What it does

It accepts a youtube video link and prepares an ingredient list and give the steps to make also it remixes the recipe in the way to want

How I built it

I was late in starting therefore i vibe coded the app as soon as possible by utilizing anti gravity and cursor

Challenges I ran into

The biggest hurdle was how to get the exact same recipe from the video and the one hit me hard was that i did not do enough research and get to know that i need a play store account to setup revenue cat(therefore i am almost disqualified cause i did not integrated the sdk successfully)

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

The best accomplishment was to get 95% result in recipe extraction and generation

I learned about the youtube data api and transcripts api

What's next for Sauce

Want to take it a stage and polish it so that every person who loves cooking will have fun with this app, exploring recipes and sharing with community
