Inspiration

The Saturn V was a powerful rocket used by NASA in the late 1960s and early 1970s for the Apollo and Skylab programs. Its main purpose was to launch astronauts and payloads into space, with notable achievements including:

Moon Missions: The Saturn V played a crucial role in the Apollo missions, launching spacecraft carrying astronauts to lunar orbit and facilitating their landing on the Moon.

Payload Delivery: In addition to lunar missions, the rocket was utilized for launching various payloads into space, such as the Skylab space station, which orbited Earth from 1973 to 1979.

Space Exploration: With its immense power, the Saturn V contributed significantly to advancements in space exploration. It expanded our understanding of space, enabled scientific experiments in microgravity, and paved the way for future space endeavors.

How I built it

Planned detailed views for each rocket stage and component. Created drawings using professional software and hand-drawing techniques.

Challenges I ran into

"When drawing the Saturn V rocket, I take pride in achieving a delicate balance of scale that captures both its monumental size and intricate details. Successfully striking this balance is a source of accomplishment, as it allows me to preserve the nuances while conveying the overall magnificence of this historic spacecraft. Navigating the challenges posed by its colossal proportions and intricate design becomes particularly rewarding, given the pivotal role the Saturn V played in advancing space exploration and achieving iconic milestones like the Apollo moon missions.."

What I learned

We learned about taking responsibility and the importance of group work.

What's next for SATURNV ROCKET

"Saturn V Roketi için Devpost yarışmasına odaklanıyorum. Tarihi önemine saygı gösterirken yenilikçi bir proje oluşturmayı amaçlıyorum. Uzay keşfi tutkum ve sınırları zorlama azmimle, Saturn V'ye özgü bakış açımı paylaşma fırsatını heyecanla bekliyorum.
