Inspiration

The project was inspired by the hypnotic beauty of Saturn and the poetry of its rings. Using NASA data as a foundation, the idea was to transform precise scientific reality into a dreamscape, evoking awe, calm, and contemplation. The aim was to explore space not just as astronomy, but as a therapeutic, visual meditation, blending cosmic wonder with a meditative, emotional rhythm.

What it does

The film transforms raw planetary data into a flowing, luminous narrative, where each frame becomes part of a larger choreography of motion and light. Viewers drift through Saturn’s rings, tracing the dance of gas and shadow, guided by an original ambient score inspired by Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, and Pink Floyd. It’s less about a story than an experience — a journey through space as a lens for reflection, stillness, and subtle emotional resonance.

How we built it

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge was translating raw scientific data into an evocative, dreamlike film without losing coherence or beauty. Balancing realism and abstraction while maintaining a hypnotic meditative pace. Another challenge was to drive the AI generative to design the special shape of Saturn clouds atmosphere.
