Saturn

Inspiration

My inspiration was the Google Voice Assistant. I wanted to make something similar, but customized.

What it does

My app is a personal voice assistant that can perform simple tasks on your computer.

How we built it

I used the Vosk API, which I have been experimenting with for a while now.

Challenges we ran into

Threading and using the program on an M1 Mac was a challenge since Vosk doesn't support ARM.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud that I could bundle the app and it works almost flawlessly.

What we learned

I learned that working quickly may not bring perfect results, but it gives you more time to debug.

What's next for Saturn

I plan on making it distributed for all Operating Systems and I hope to add more features, and maybe even machine learning.
