Inspiration
Most nutrition apps begin with a subtraction: a calorie budget, a macro target, a list of foods to avoid. Abbey Sharp's Hunger Crushing Combo starts somewhere else, with one question: what can we add to make this meal more satisfying?
Satiate asks that question about whatever you actually have tonight, whether that's a half-empty fridge, last night's leftovers or just a craving.
What it does
Satiate turns everyday situations into meal ideas, instead of handing you a plan to follow.
- Starts from real life. Type what you have, photograph the fridge or the counter, or just name a craving: nachos, a proper burger, something crunchy. A craving on its own is enough to get ideas. Switch to Already made and it works with food that's already cooked, like leftovers or a takeaway, and shows what to add.
- Three ideas, each a combo. Every idea keeps what you asked for and builds the rest of the meal around it with protein, fiber, healthy fat and a carb, until it holds you over. Recipes show which ingredient plays which part.
- Full recipes that explain themselves. Steps that say why, what you already have versus what you'd need to buy, a "Make it more satisfying" tip, and swaps under "Make it your own".
- You choose how strict. Only what I have, A couple of extras, or Whatever makes it good.
- Respects how you eat. Set your diet and allergies once, and every suggestion is checked against your allergies.
- A shared gallery. Dishes other people have made, each with a photo. Top rated and Most saved shelves sit above a grid that reshuffles every visit. Filter by how you eat, search by an ingredient you have, and rate or save what you like.
- A dish before dinner. One notification a day, about an hour before the dinner time you gave, matched to your diet.
- No calories, no macros, nothing to track. No streaks, no food logs, no "good" or "bad" foods.
Satiate is free to use, with 3 idea sets a week. Satiate Pro removes the limit, and the yearly plan comes with a free month to give to a friend.
