What it does
A digital elevation model uses separate pixel values to represent 3-dimensional information of a terrain's surface.
How I built it
A landmass is located using its latitude and longitude. Two or more satellite images of the landmass are taken 5 years apart. MATLAB then compared the respective image's Surf features while using tracking points to determine the direction of the landmass.
Challenges I ran into
Acquiring the satellite images.
