The idea of SARAL was born from a real-life challenge that every citizen faces — confusion during emergencies and frustration while reporting civic problems. Whether it’s calling for an ambulance, reporting a fire, or complaining about a pothole, people often juggle between multiple apps, helplines, or departments. This wastes valuable time and sometimes even risks lives.

We asked ourselves:

“What if one simple app could connect citizens directly to all emergency and civic services instantly?”

That question became the seed for SARAL – Simple, Accessible, Reliable, All-in-One Lifeline.

We began by analyzing how existing systems like 112 India and city portals function. While they worked for specific areas, none offered a complete, AI-powered, user-friendly solution that combined both emergency and civic needs.

So we designed SARAL with these key features:

One-tap emergency calls for Police, Fire, and Ambulance

Civic issue reporting using GPS and photo uploads

AI-based issue classification for faster responses

Real-time tracking of requests

Voice command & SOS button for quick access

With SARAL, a citizen can simply open the app, select the service, and get connected instantly — no confusion, no delay.
