Inspiration
I always wanted my own assistant,sara is my fav actress name & I have created it with wit.AI for easy nlp.
What it does
It does chat with us & provide services like translations ,places,artists informations on command.
How I built it
I built it with Wit.AI for nlp. For hosting I used heroku and with FLASK framework i have created an backend for my AI chatbot, I have called wit.ai on server. Java is used for android app and it is calling an api i made for this application. So i only have to train and make changes on server side.
Challenges I ran into
I was not able to use wit.ai with python, but sample Python code in documentation of github was helpful, I have never built chatbot app, Now It was hard for me how to connect ? how to make api for calling in android app? and many more.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I never stopped. I learnt wit.AI which polished my chatbot knowledge, I have now own api for my chatbot, My own android app, now i can even create website,ios app with same api.

What's next for Sara - An AI Voice Assistant
Many services like nearby hospitals,location. an Integrated service like Mental health psychologist will be introduced into it.
