Inspiration

We are both avid gamers and when we thought of the theme "Interconnected", the first thing that came to our heads was a program to connect gamers.

What it does

It is a program where you can input your interests in video games and the program will match you with other accounts with the most tags in common.

How we built it

We built it using python libraries such as pygame and pickle to create the UI and file editing respectivly.

Challenges we ran into

We had our share of debugging troubles when working with new libraries, Brett had bugs regarding the rendering of the UI (it refused to update

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Even though we felt as if the project was too simple in comparison to other submissions at the hackathon, this was our first hackathon and we are proud of stepping out of comfort zone and programming something so new to us in such a short amount of time. :)

What we learned

We learned how to use the python libraries pygame and pickle. We also gained the skill of coding in a group project, something neither of us had really done before.
