Sapienzo

Inspiration

Although there are many motivation solutions which depends on essentials, there was no on cultural expenditures. It's known that consuming cultural and entertainment activities such as reading books, seeing movies, joining concerts etc. improves personal productivity at work. So we built a system which provides access to all these activities from one unique account.

What it does

Sapienzo is a payment system which provides an e-wallet service that can be used for expenditures only made on cultural and arts and entertainment activities. It is served as a motivation solution for medium and big sized enterprises promising measurable improvement in productivity, teamwork skills and employee satisfaction.

How I built it

Sapienzo is built with JSF2 and Hibernate. On front-end we use Primefaces and jQuery.

Challenges I ran into

Implementing new technologies like PaaS are the things i am not familiar with. It took some time to gain experience on them and start using elaborately.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Leading all IT work from design to test was a heavy load on me. But now proud of releasing the final product.

What I learned

Runnig a start-up is harder than i thought. Taught us lots of experience.

What's next for Sapienzo

Sapienzo is in its very early stage. We're working hard to get our first customers.
