Inspiration

SaoMove:

Conceived as a global necessity, for common people and people in disabling condition who are requiring innovative technological tools to know in real time the location of vehicles of the public transport system of their city and the places where they can make reservations online and/or find out if those places are eligible for access to people in condition of disability.

What it does

It is a web and mobile application, which seeks to simplify the mobility of people in the city of Sao Paulo.

It consists of three roles:

Users, employees of the urban transport system, and commercial establishments.

Users can:

Register with email and password and contact information or your favorite social network.
Specify whether they are people in disabling condition or not.
Display on a map the exact location of the buses enabled the entry of people and routes them in real time.
Choose to be notified when the bus with the route they are waiting to enter selected radio search for them on the map.
Find places as parking lots, restaurants, beauty salons, laundries and many others.
Schedule and cancel reservations in places like parking lots, restaurants, beauty salons, laundries and others in their city of residence or preference.
Rate and give their opinion about the places that are registered on the platform.
Modify your data at any time.

Employees of the urban transport system can:

Register with email and password, vehicle plate, route, city and personal data.
Specify If they are enabled for use of people in disabling condition or not.
Transmit their exact coordinates and their paths when it is in the course of their working day to be filtered on the map and they can be viewed by all users that use the application as users.
Modify their route at any time.

Commercial establishments can:

Register with email, password, city, address and contact details.
Specify If they are enabled for use of people in disabling condition or not.
Accept or cancel bookings made by people to their establishment.
Contact people who make reservations at their establishment.
Receive feedback and user reviews.
Modify their data at any time.

How I built it

I built it using many techologies available to work with real time data, as AngularJS, HTML5, and Google Maps, and realtime cloud data.

Challenges I ran into

The biggest challenge was to make it fit at all in a crossplatform mobile application, because it is really a complex code,well organized but hard to plug in with those kind of platforms.
