SantaBot

Inspiration

Our inspiration was one of those Santa toys that could speak with the press of a button.

What it does

It is a Santa decoration that you can talk to.

How we built it

We made a chatbot software and put it onto a Raspberry Pi that is attached to a speaker and microphone.

Challenges we ran into

Getting the chatbot itself to work was pretty difficult at first but we were able to figure it out.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud of the chatbot being themed and then connecting it to external speakers and microphones so you can speak to it.

What we learned

We learned how to properly integrate API’s and libraries into a program.

What's next for SantaBot

Maybe putting all the parts together could be the next step.
