Inspiration

Thalassemia patients require blood transfusions every 15–21 days. Families go through emotional stress and communication fatigue making 4–5 phone calls for each unit of blood. Emergency patients also struggle to find a donor quickly. We wanted to create a system that predicts, prepares and responds on time without panic calls. That is how Sanjeevani was born - lifesaving agentic AI that bridges donors, hospitals and patients instantly.

What it does

Sanjeevani is an Agentic AI that: 1.Predicts transfusion needs for Thalassemia patients 2.Automatically matches donors based on proximity, blood type & response score 3.Alerts backup donors (bridge donors) if no direct match 4.Handles multi-language communication through AI 5.Enables SOS requests with immediate donor list retrieval 6.Collects real-time feedback and donor availability data 7.It reduces stress, speeds up help and saves lives.

How we built it

Base44 for prototype & UI development. Gemini API for AI logic and language support. Internal Database for donor & patient data. Custom Agent Logic for donor matching. Auto-alerts and submission tracking. Feedback form integrated via Google Forms.

We structured the app into: Home → Emergency Panel → Donor System → AI Assistant → Feedback → SOS

Challenges we ran into

Implementing accurate proximity-based donor matching. Limited credits for Gemini API usage. Database inconsistencies during live matching. Building UI & features under strict time limits. Ensuring real-time & reliable SOS responses.

But overcoming these made our system stronger.
