sanigrade sanirate

All starts from Italy where tourism is one of the biggest and most affected industries.

No clarity yet for the rules post-covid in order to reopen the different activities, but for sure people (customers) are more concerned and aware of sanitization nowadays. More than ever. This platform helps in anticipating and integrating the rules (once those are ready) and let businesses set their own preventative measures (without waiting any further) so that customers can start searching, selecting and picking accordingly.

What it does

It lets customers choose a place according to the level of sanitization they feel more comfortable with; at the same time it provides companies with an opportunity to inform customers and prospects on the way these companies are approaching the covid and post covid period.

How I built it

mostly WordPress, then some PHP, SQL, CSS, JAVASCRIPT.

Challenges I ran into

Not being a developer i had to limit the execution of my imagination. With a professional team of developers could reach very high standars. But that's phase 2/3/4.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Created a perfect working MVP ready to become a proper full product with just a few more days.

What I learned

nothing more than what i knew as i developed this mvp in less than a day. Conceived in my mind in Saturday, created it on Sunday.

What's next for sanirate (sanigrade)

Phase 2 : creation of a saniscore as an index to better compare the different companies ; phase 3: machine learning and python applied to the platform in order to provide intelligent content to the users and more insights to businesses; phase 4: integration o2o and visual commerce site (post covid).
