Inspiration

I believe art is a powerful way to express emotions and capture moods in a simple, enjoyable manner. While reading about sand simulations online, I thought it would be calming to use that effect to visually represent emotions on a digital canvas. This inspired the idea of creating an app that allows users to record and analyze their emotions through art.

What it does

The app lets you track and record your daily emotions using artistic representations.

How we built it

We developed it natively for iOS using SwiftUI and SwiftData.

Challenges we ran into

Implementing a smooth sand simulation effect natively without compromising performance was challenging and required creative solutions.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created a beautiful digital canvas that allows users to visually express their emotions.

What we learned

1- How to set up in-app purchases with RevenueCat—it’s surprisingly straightforward. 2 - Fundamental concepts of SwiftUI and Swift.

What's next for SandMind

We're planning to integrate a personalized AI chatbot to provide insights based on users' logged emotions. Additionally, we aim to create a web platform that offers weekly and daily analytics on overall user emotions while ensuring privacy and data protection.
