Inspiration

My mother has always been my inspiration. I look up to her while learning new things and build up confidence to face any challenges.

What it does

Sand n CoCo is a static blogging website, where you can share your sweet and salty incidents that you experienced on beach and let everybody know how you connected to the sea, the waves that changed you. You can also check out other blogs in surfing, coconuts and much more. This site is more informative than interactive. This might be a first time I made a website that works, hope you like it!

How I built it

I built it using WordPress, with HTML, CSS and JavaScript and hosting it with Github webpages.

Challenges I ran into

I am new to coding, this was my sincere attempt to make a functional website. Also this is my first hackathon, and didn't know what to expect. My first challenge was I didn't know how to get a domain and host a website, I struggled with it for a while but later it turned out to be easier than it looked.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Running a functional blog website all by myself.

What I learned

I learned how to work with domain, how t host your website through Github and some cool features I didn't know I could do with html.

What's next for Sand n CoCo

I'm going to keep running the web site as long and I can, keep updating the blogs and content to amuse the viewers.
