A note on Gemini 3
We attempted to upgrade to Gemini 3 Flash before submission. The model responded to our user account, but Vertex AI returned 404 for our Cloud Run service account — preview access is allowlisted — so we shipped on the proven, stable Gemini 2.5 Flash rather than risk the deployment hours before deadline. The swap is one line of code when access opens.
