Inspiration: Our inspiration was the events that we, as international students ourselves went through throughout our freshmen year. Our app encompasses knowledge and information that we as freshmen wished someone had told us.
How we built it: We use the program Thunkable to create our program.
Challenges we ran into: We found several challenges as we weren't initially familiar with this program. Hence, understanding this program was somewhat a challenge.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: We're proud of the app in general as we were able to use our personal experiences throughout our first semester to create something that we know is something that would useful and accessible to students all over the US.
What we learned: We learnt how to use thunkable. We learnt how the rules and regulations worked in the different states in the United States. The policies of the different state universities.
What's next for SanaVita: Enhanced tools such as emergency alerts regarding upcoming spreads and diseases, increase the quality of our app, reach a wider audience, increase information on other universities which aren't just state universities.
