Inspiration

After working in the dinning hall we notice the huge amount of daily food waste and we want to reduce it. At the same time we want to create a more resilient and substainable society, that is why 1/3 of all the money received will be donated to environmental NGO's

What it does

This is a website that allows food providers to offers their food surplus at a very low price at the end of the day, to reduce their food waste and help people with food insecurity have access to food. Moreover, 1/3 of the cost will be donated to NGO's

We designed and coded a Website.

Challenges we ran into

We strugle to connect the information the food providers were posting and the buyers.

We want to start it in the Quad cities and make partneships with Augustana College and local restaurants of the area and keep growing.
