San-bot

Inspiration

My inspiration for San-bot was the global pandemic happening right now.

What it does

San-bot is an automatic hand sanitizer dispenser, helping eliminate the issue of spreading germs on hand sanitizer bottles.

How I built it

I built San-bot using a variety of pieces from the 1st gen Vex Robotics IQ set.

Challenges I ran into

I ran into several challenges including: Wheels going counterclockwise instead of clockwise Parts not moving (when they were supposed to) Weight difference Robot kept falling over Controller didn't work Motors not working

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Finishing the robot to the entirety!

What I learned

The amount of stuff I learned while attending Deltahacks is just too long to list. This has been one of the best experiences of my life and I hope to be back next year!
