Inspiration
We plan to build Samvaad Shakti because minor disputes in India—like neighbor conflicts, rental issues, petty business disagreements, or small traffic incidents—often take months to resolve. Courts are overburdened, language barriers make communication difficult, and mediators are often inaccessible. Our goal is to create a solution that resolves conflicts quickly, fairly, and inclusively, bridging linguistic and accessibility gaps while promoting community harmony.
What We Plan to Do
Develop a real-time multilingual AI mediator that listens to both parties in their preferred languages.
Use a multi-agent architecture to handle intent extraction, legal guidance, negotiation, document drafting, and bias monitoring.
Generate bilingual, digitally signed agreements that can be shared or filed with authorities.
Ensure the platform works in low-bandwidth or offline environments for rural accessibility.
How We Plan to Build It
Use IBM Granite multilingual models for understanding multiple Indian languages.
Orchestrate agents via IBM Agent Development Kit (ADK).
Use Speech-to-Text APIs for real-time transcription.
Employ RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) to fetch legal rules and precedents.
Build the system using Python, PyTorch, and LangChain, with containerized deployment via Docker.
Challenges We Expect to Face
Ensuring accurate real-time transcription across multiple Indian languages and dialects.
Maintaining fairness and neutrality in suggested resolutions.
Designing a seamless multi-agent workflow that integrates legal context, negotiation, and document generation.
Supporting offline and low-bandwidth environments without compromising performance.
What We Hope to Learn
How to design and orchestrate multi-agent AI systems effectively.
Best practices for applying AI in socially responsible and legally informed contexts.
Strategies to bridge language and accessibility gaps using technology.
How to balance technical complexity with practical usability for real-world adoption.
Future Vision
Once implemented, Samvaad Shakti will reduce case backlogs, improve social harmony, and provide accessible dispute resolution across India. We hope to expand it to cover more dispute types, languages, and mobile-friendly deployment, ultimately creating a tool that empowers citizens and strengthens communities.
