Inspiration:
Our inspiration was to make a platform(similar to Twitter, Instagram, and Tumblr) where people can feel safe and share their stories.
What it does and How we built it
Our teams' goal is to have a running social media platform with 6-7 different main screens. We built it using the MIT app inventor where we went to create different screens and designs. After we got the base screens done we had to then add in the code (using block code) so that when a bubble is popped or clicked on it opens to more bubbles(options) or it will open a new screen.
Challenges we ran into
Some challenges we ran into was working with a new base way for code. We had tried block code before but to get use to this new way of block code was difficult for us. Another challenge was finding out how we would be able to equally create the app while also balancing our other responsibilities to the team.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Some accomplishments that we were proud of where make the base screens and adding in the code to make sure everything is running smoothly and actually taking you to a different screen when you click on the bubble.
What we learned
We learned how to use different ways of block code, how to troubleshoot, and problem solve all while communicating as a team.
What's next for SAME
What's next for SAME would be to fix small bugs or make it flow better so that it has a better way to run and interact with the user.
