Inspiration

Our inspiration comes from how Covid brings negative impact to everyone. Now even though Covid is not serious in US, Covid has become really serious issue in China. People are locked inside their homes and even having problems reaching out food and other resources. More voices need to be heard. In addition, although Covid is partially recovered in US, many people are still willing to stay at home after a year of isolation. We intend to create this platform to let people walk out of their comfort zone and make friends with others.

What it does

The forums from our webpage can let more people express their opinions or seek help from others.

How we built it

First we brainstormed ideas around helping out the community affected by Covid-19. We then came up with the idea to create a platform to bring the community closer together by giving everyone an opportunity to post their needs and resources around supplies.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into the challenge of how exactly to help out the community effected by Covid-19. We then realized that many people were in serious needs of supplies due to quarantines. Especially in Shanghai when everyone is currently in quarantines and many people could not get any fresh food supplies. We then planned on helping people to communicate better by building an IOS app.
