Our project is a website designed for Samba da Alegria, a local non-profit.
It has multiple pages with various information about the group, with a handful of the features that they requested. Media integration, an events system, and signup forms all through Google, and a member's only section and admin panel through our own backend. It's all in HTML, CSS, and Python using Flask.
They initially requested WordPress, but the functionality we were hoping for was all locked behind paywalls, so we had to choose between spending money or making our own site from scratch.
Using this website will unify their online presence and hopefully allow the community to better know how to support the group.
