  A preview of what our extension will look like

Inspiration

We were fed up with the multitude of apps students have to use just to succeed in class. School was already stressful enough, but with the pandemic and online school, it became too much to comfortably manage. There were too many websites and apps to manage for different classes, so we decided to build an app that consolidated all that information, so you will never miss a deadline again.

What it does

Based on the Canvas API, this website will contain a calendar that holds all due dates and upcoming exams as well as other important events. The extension will provide a simplified view containing the assignments due that day, upcoming exams/projects, and quick links for textbooks and other useful tools.

How we built it

We utilized APIs of the sites most students use we are able to retrieve that data and display all the assignments a student needs to do.

As we are design track, we are yet to run into challenges

What's next for Sam's Super State-of-the-Art Standardized School Scheduler

We plan on expanding our app to include integration for other video conferencing apps and LMSs. This includes things like Microsoft Teams, Google Meets, Blackboard LMS, and many more.
