Inspiration Millions of people fear needles and avoid blood tests. Saliva is a painless, easy alternative for early health monitoring—especially in villages and low-resource areas for children

What it does This project simulates a saliva-based pH monitoring system using Python. It mimics sensor input and detects abnormal pH values that may indicate health problems like acidity, dehydration, etc.

How we built it Google Colab for running Python

Simulated pH sensor values

Matplotlib for visualizing results

Google Docs for project documentation

Challenges we ran into

No access to real sensors

Had to simulate realistic pH data

Making graphs clear for health readings

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Successfully simulated realistic saliva pH data without real sensors

Built a complete working prototype using only Python and open-source tools

Visualized health indicators in an easy-to-understand graph

Raised awareness about non-invasive health monitoring

Completed the entire project with limited resources in a short time

What we learned

Data simulation in Python

How saliva pH relates to health

Making healthcare accessible and tech-based

What's next for Saliva Sense

Use real sensors (like pH strips or Arduino)

Mobile app for remote saliva monitoring

AI for early disease prediction
