Inspiration:

i saw that sales teams don’t always know where they loose customers in the sales process. They waste time on leads that they don’t even buy. So, i wanted to make a simple picture to help them see this problem.

What i learnt:

I got to know how to make funnel charts and use formulas in Tableau. Why and how simple design can help people understand data fast.

How i built the project:

I used a sample sales data set called Tableau Superstore which can be seen in salesforce . I also made a funnel chart to show how leads move from Leads to Opportunities, Opportunities to Closed Deals. I did also add filters so that people can look at data by region, product, and time. The formula for conversion rate is: (lead in next step/ lead in current step). 100

Problems i faced:

Cleaning the data so that the steps match well. Making the dashboard look good and easy to use.
