Inspiration

Employee’s financial instability is at an all-time high. This creates the perfect environment for predatory lenders to destroy or fintechs to rise. It's clear now, that the distribution of government aid packages is hard and inefficient and in a lot of cases not quick enough and in general, not enough.

What it does

Salarify is an earned wage access platform, enabling employees to access their already earned but yet unpaid salary before payday. We work with employers, deploy our solution that integrates into their currently used HRM/payroll/banking ecosystem, in a few days. As an end to end automated solution, it is widely used for helping employees react better to unexpected expenses without spiraling into debt. For 2020 Salarify is free of charge for employers and employees as well and we started to develop our solution for governments to spread fiscal help to employees through our payroll automation. Besides that, we will launch our Private Aid platform, where anyone can contribute to employees' salaries in a given company, then Salarify ensures the fair distribution for wages automatically. (I.e.: your local coffeshop)

How we built it

We build our tools with our amazing team located in Hungary using top-notch tech stack and an extraordinary amount of work. For this hackathon we will include a Transferwise integration as well, to help remote families help each other.

Challenges we ran into

We faced legal challenges and as one of the first earned wage access platform in the EU, educational challenges as well.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Like the fresh article about us: https://forbes.hu/uzlet/inkabb-vagyunk-spotify-mint-egy-bank-magyar-startup-alakitja-at-hogyan-jutunk-a-fizetesunkhoz-es-hogyan-hasznaljuk-fel-minel-okosabban-salarify/

But mostly the satisfied Salarify users who could avoid predatory loans and liquidity shortages.

What we learned

Real social impact is the key factor in success.

What's next for Salarify

Developing our COVID Aid features and hopefully closing. seed round soon.
