SAILSE is a mobile-first SaaS platform combining three pillars in one app: a sail rental marketplace where customers can discover and book vessels by date and location; an education platform where certified captains publish courses for beginner to advanced sailors; and a social hub where the Turkish sailing community connects, shares logbook entries, and organizes marine events.

SAILSE is a mobile-first SaaS platform combining three pillars in one app: a sail rental marketplace where customers can discover and book vessels by date and location; an education platform where certified captains publish courses for beginner to advanced sailors; and a social hub where the Turkish sailing community connects, shares logbook entries, and organizes marine events.
How we built it
We built SAILSE as a three-tier system. The backend is ASP.NET Core (.NET 10) with Entity Framework Core and SQL Server, exposing a role-based REST API covering customers, captains, boat owners, and admins. The mobile app is React Native (Expo), featuring map-driven vessel discovery, a digital logbook with calendar view, and Google OAuth sign-in. The admin panel is React + TypeScript (Vite) for marina operators to manage reservations and fleet inventory.

What's next for SAILSE
Launch the education platform: captain-published courses with video lessons, quizzes, and certifications recognized by Turkish sailing federations. Roll out real-time vessel tracking using WebSockets so renters can see their boat's live position during a trip.
