Inspiration

Our solution was inspired by the increasingly online world; there are more and more resources on the internet right now, and the biggest challenge is to access those. That is what we aim to solve.

What it does

We propose a national governmental policy where the US gives out 2 million vouchers to people who don’t have laptops.

How we built it

We thought of this idea when looking to things like welfare programs.

Challenges we ran into

We faced the challenge of how to get computers in an efficient and effective manner to the poor. However, we tackled this problem by using a food stamps-esque idea and adding nuances to it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of finding all of these detailed statistics and thinking of a nuanced way to tackle inequality.

What we learned

The main thing learned is that cell phones are not enough. According to numerous studied, cell phones don’t have the capabilities of doing numerous online activities.
