Inspiration

Sail is a one-click defi optimizer that works on Ethereum and Polygon networks.

There are many attractive services in polygon networks. With AAVE, you can easily borrow and short. Through LIDO, you can stake MATIC and issue stMATIC, and change it back to MATIC when needed. MMF and CURVE can provide liquidity and create additional value for the assets gathered in the ecosystem.

By making these attractive services easier to use, and in particular, by quickly and easily supplying assets in the Ethereum ecosystem to Polygon-based services and making MATIC used even more,

the purpose of Sail On Polygon is to help more users use the Polygon ecosystem quickly and easily.

What it does

At this stage, you can easily implement the short function by using AAVE, execute long/short at the same time (opposite trading), and through this, you can hedge your investment process.

In addition, you can control the entire process through a simple dashboard with helper. You can operate all stages stably through a wallet owned inside the contract as well.

How we built it

  1. DeFi strategy design linking Ethereum and Polygon ecosystems
  2. Identify various services in the Polygon ecosystem and the functions and tokens they provide
  3. Design a plan to create asset value by linking functions and depositing various tokens

Challenges we ran into

  1. Limited quantity of pair(collateral - borrow) choices
  2. Slippage and repulsion
  3. Too many clicks and page-flow needed

What is needed for polygon ecosystem and scalability, ecosystem service activation and token usage

What's next for Sail on Polygon

  1. More DeFi connection and short implementation of polygon ecosystem (NOW HERE)

  2. (Short-term) Reducing the difficulty of using DeFi, providing dashboards, and implementing financial strategies

  3. (Long-term) Formation of API and onboarding process so that various apps can provide liquidity to the Polygon ecosystem, and provide incentives for depositing various assets in the Polygon ecosystem
