Every Indian teacher knows the struggle: late nights spent preparing lesson plans, creating worksheets in multiple languages, and tailoring material for students of different levels — all while handling 50+ students in a classroom. These challenges burn out teachers and limit their ability to truly inspire. We asked ourselves: What if every teacher had an AI-powered co-pilot — one that saves them hours, speaks their language, and instantly adapts to their students’ needs?

🛠️ How we built it

  • Frontend: Next.js + TypeScript + Tailwind CSS → blazing fast, responsive, accessible
  • Backend: Firebase for secure, scalable auth and storage
  • AI Engine: Google AI Studio models tuned for Indian context + language diversity
  • Design: Accessibility-first → large touch targets, high-contrast UI, voice-first commands

We focused on real teacher workflows (lesson planning, assessments, student feedback) and tested each feature against actual classroom needs.

⚡ Challenges we ran into

  • Building curriculum-aware AI that doesn’t just “hallucinate” but aligns with CBSE/ICSE/state boards.
  • Handling code-switching (teachers mixing Hindi/English/other languages in prompts).
  • Designing for teachers who are time-poor and tech-cautious — every feature had to work in one click.

🏆 Accomplishments we’re proud of

  • Built a working AI prototype that can generate a full 5-day lesson plan in under 60 seconds.
  • Demonstrated multilingual capabilities across 22+ languages — including regional dialects.
  • Created AI reading assessment that highlights mispronounced words with corrective tips.
  • Early teacher testers called it “a time-saver we’ve been waiting for”.
