Sahabat UMKM

Inspiration

Many UMKM actors whose work combines the art and culture native to the area where they live. With the results of the work it should be able to lift their economy and cultural arts in their area. We see that UMKM are less developed in tourist attractions. Lack of knowledge to adaptation to the internet and technological developments experienced by UMKM. they are left behind, especially in their marketing products. So we want to develop an application to help UMKM in Banyuwangi better known by tourists who come.

What it does

This application will contain a directory of tourist attractions, as well as MSMEs who are in that place. Tourist visitors will easily find and buy MSME products in tourist attractions. For payments, you can use E-Pay BRI.

How I built it

we will integrate UMKM in the arts and culture by promoting their work on the website and promoting it on social media and etc. With a website-based application, we will build this application with an attractive and easy to use design.

Challenges I ran into

we will learn more about web programming
we will learn more more about android programming
we will study about how to increase the income for the UMKM.
keep looking for the latest news about UMKM and the culture that is being lifted by the umkm itself.
how to manage the time for the Hackathon with time to study in college.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

in this application we are proud to be able to integrate umkm with the arts and culture in it as well as places of tourism which later will make it easier for SMEs in doing business and make it easier for prospective buyers who want to find local umkm products that must be purchased.

What I learned

we learn about economic equality and advance local culture. Because of what? because many SMEs have already made their work and sold it, but there are still a few works sold, not even a few who underestimate their work. So from that we learned about business efforts and put forward more products from existing local umkm.

What's next for Sahabat UMKM

We want to add a better business plan in the Sahabat UMKM application which will further show a significant impact on the surrounding economy. And for the application, for the future it can be further developed to more easily reach more users and buyers.
