To fix this problem, we built an AI receptionist that answers calls 24/7, talks like a real person, and books appointments directly into Google Calendar. When someone calls, it picks up instantly, understands what they need, and schedules them on the spot. Business owners can customize how the AI sounds. Everything syncs with Google Calendar in real time, so they see new bookings immediately.

We connected a bunch of APIs to make conversations feel natural. The system handles phone calls, converts speech to text in real time, figures out what the caller wants, and responds with a human-sounding voice. All appointments are automatically added to Google Calendar.

Getting the timing right was very difficult. The AI needs to know when someone's done talking versus just pausing. Too fast and it interrupts. Too slow and it feels awkward. We spent forever tuning when the AI should respond so conversations feel natural and not robotic.
