SAGA

Inspiration People struggle to talk about themselves. They downplay achievements, forget wins, and freeze in situations where self‑promotion matters — jobs, new friends, creative opportunities. We wanted to build something that quietly captures a person’s real momentum and turns it into language they can actually use.

What it does SAGA is a messaging extension that transforms everyday wins into clear archetypes and AI‑generated summaries. Users log achievements through WhatsApp, voice, or typing, and SAGA builds a chapter of who they are — then tells them exactly what they can highlight in different social or professional situations.

How we built it We designed a WhatsApp-style extension flow using Figma Make, built archetype logic, created category‑based summaries, and prototyped the full interaction: notification → overlay → category → archetype → AI summary. We combined UI generation, custom components, and manual prototyping to create a cohesive product experience.

Challenges we ran into Figma Make doesn’t support multi-screen prototypes, so stitching flows together required exporting screens manually and rebuilding interactions. Designing archetypes that felt meaningful — not generic — was also difficult. Ensuring privacy while allowing achievement logging was another key design challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of We built a full end‑to‑end extension experience: a notification system, category selector, archetype explorer, and AI summary engine. We created a new way for people to understand themselves through their own messages and achievements — and made it feel natural inside everyday chat.

What we learned We learned how to push Figma Make beyond its limits, how to design archetypes that feel personal, and how to turn raw user logs into meaningful identity summaries. Most importantly, we learned how powerful small, everyday achievements can be when framed correctly.

What's next for SAGA We’re adding multi‑chapter timelines, deeper archetype evolution, and cross‑situation summaries. We plan to integrate richer voice logging, optional journaling, and a “social confidence mode” that gives users tailored talking points before real interactions. SAGA will grow into a full personal identity companion.
