I'm a student at USC and safety is a big problem with this school. Even though the school has carried out various measures to enhance off-campus safety, risks still exists due to many uncertainties. Sometimes when we have to walk or ride back home when night is coming, increased crime occurrences pose threats on our lives. SafeWalk warns people about crime zones and keep their locations updated with friends to avoid potential danger. When entering dangerous areas, the user will get warning notifications. Meanwhile, the real-time location of the user will be shared to a friend’s phone and keep being updated until you get home safely.
