Inspiration

AI platforms like Bolt.new have democratized app development beautifully. As this ecosystem grows, we saw an opportunity to help developers strengthen their applications with security best practices when scaling from prototypes to production.

During our research, we found that many builders want to implement proper security measures but lack the tools and knowledge to do so effectively. We built SafeVibe.Codes to bridge this gap while maintaining the speed and simplicity that makes AI development so powerful.

What it does

SafeVibe.Codes enables users of AI development platforms to run security scans on their apps and get guidance on improvements. Users simply register, enter their app's URL, and get instant results showing:

• Database exposure vulnerabilities and unauthorized access issues
• Sensitive data leakage detection (PII, financial data, private messages)
• Actionable fix guidance that won't break app functionality

The platform is free and works across all major AI development platforms: Bolt.new, Lovable, Base44, Replit (coming soon) and V0 (coming soon).

How we built it

We built SafeVibe.Codes using Bolt.new itself, creating a meta-solution with:

• Beautiful UI with focus on simplicity and speed
• Automated security scanner that probes for common vulnerabilities
• Database analysis tools for detecting exposed data and permissions
• Fix recommendation engine providing context-aware remediation steps

Challenges we ran into

• Platform diversity: Each AI platform has unique configurations, requiring flexible detection logic
• Actionable guidance: Providing helpful fixes that don't disrupt development workflow
• Performance: Real-time scanning while maintaining speed and accuracy
