What it does

Automatically notifies your most trusted loved one if you may be in danger, more importantly, it sends them your exact global coordinates.

How we built it

Swift, Google Cloud, Twilio

Challenges we ran into

Ideally, I would have liked to send a push notification to 10 of the user's closest friends with their location in case you were in danger. However, Apple is very strict with their push notification APIs, so I had to find a workaround that utilized both google cloud and Twilio to send a text message to only your closest loved one.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Worked with some of Twilio's APIs for the first time. I implemented neumorphic design to complement the minimalist nature of my app. I created a simple complete app that can be used by anyone in seconds if they find themselves in an environment where they do not feel comfortable.
