Inspiration: to find a solution to a problem everyone faces today. Most companies operating on the fintech market focus on developing and offering fraud detection software to fintech institutions. End users of digital payment services are supposed to rely on the credibility of the software by default. Though integrated into the online payment systems, this solution does not guarantee risk free money transfer.
The focus of SafeTransacions is to provide the needed information before a user makes an online payment. Largely, the platform aims to ensure thrustworthiness in the financial digital world. Users who make online money transfers will be able to checkout on the platform if a the person/institution they are sending money to is reliable by entering the receivers details in the search engine on SafeTransactions platform. Search results will be extracted from an already created dataset, based on information from open sources.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of: total visibility and likeability of the project idea
What I learned: enlarged my knowledge about money fraud tactics and cybersecurity in general
What's next for SafeTransactions platform: finding other team members who would help out project realisation
