Safety is becoming increasingly susceptible to risks even while doing everyday tasks like running. Our team has decided to tackle this issue by increasing the awareness through communicating the crime risks within neighbourhoods.
What it does
Our site grabs your starting location, creates a route to your final location, and then compares those coordinates with a full list of crimes that has happened in the last 365 days, provided by the Vancouver Police Department. After analyzing, it tells you how many crimes have happened in that neighbourhood and tells you if it is safe, proceed with caution, or unsafe.
